Hesperiidae -- Skipper Family

This butterfly can be found in upper elevation, riparian canyons of Southeast Arizona's mountain ranges. In the Sonoran Desert proper it is rarely seen in Sabino and Molino Canyons in the Sta. Catalina Mountains. The caterpillars feed on the leaves to various members of the bean family.
