n. of Wickenberg, Yavapai Co., Arizona.

Northwest of Wickenberg, Arizona, the Sonoran Desert meets the Mojave Desert. Here there are elements of both deserts growing together. Like Joshua Trees growing nearby to Saguaro cactus. These tree-sized lilies are unmistakeable, with clumps of large dagger-like leaves at branch ends and large panicles of white flowers appearing in late spring.

Family: Agavaceae
